Blastro Fans,
Well....we had our first rain out of the season...in Martin, Michigan at the US131 Motorsports Park. Blastro has a new tall "top fuel" injector hat....that was meant to add more of a "Rat Fink" look to the van, but it really seems to be helping with the horse power. Due to the rain we only were able to make one test past on Friday night . That pass was a 300' hit coasting through the 1/4 mile. The 60' was 1.17 and coasted through the 1/8 at 5.19 ET ....that is 3740 lbs with 1.17, sixty foot times. So once we get it tuned in, Blastro should be able to come up with a new low ET. 7.73@178 mph is the best so far....Tom hopes to get a new low number soon!
All in all ....it was nice hanging out with the other Super Charged Thunder racers since we hadn't seen the majority of them since the end of last season! Congratulations to Toney Curey on his racing debut!
